For security, a photo step is required for every visit to verify the identity of the person being treated. Depending on the service, additional photos may be requested to provide the medical team with all the necessary information needed to assist you effectively.
Taking a Photo
To take a photo for your visit:
- Make sure you are using a device with a camera connected to the internet, such as a:
- Smartphone
- Tablet
- Computer with a webcam
- We recommend accessing your visit using the Google Chrome or Safari web browser
- If you are prompted to allow access to your camera, make sure to approve it
- Take the requested photo and verify that it's:
- Clear
- Well-lit
- Legible (if text included)
- Once you are satisfied with the photo, confirm to have it uploaded
Retaking a Photo
After submitting your visit, you may receive a message requesting that you retake one or more photos. The message will explain the reason for the request.
To retake a photo:
- Click the "Retake" button in the message you received
- Alternatively, you can go to the Visit History section of your account and select the current visit, where you will see which photo needs to be retaken
Troubleshooting
If you're having technical issues with the photos:
- Check the file type: photos should be in JPG or PNG format
- Check your settings: make sure you have enabled camera access in order to take and upload photos to your visit
- Refresh your browser: you may need to reload the page, especially if you just granted permissions for your camera
- Change devices: if you are having trouble with the connection or settings on a particular device, try switching to another device
